Samantha Friedman
Samantha Friedman is a certified nurse midwife. She graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and completed her master’s degree in nurse midwifery from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Prior to joining Nye Partners, she worked as a labor and delivery nurse at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
Samantha is also a certified lactation counselor and has experience not only helping new moms breastfeed, but also providing breastfeeding education to registered nurses. Samantha engages in partnerships with women and their families in order to individualize care, educate, and promote wellness. It is her goal to support women and empower them to make informed healthcare decisions. She believes in the normalcy of women’s life cycle events and helping her patients feel fulfilled in their healthcare decisions and birth experiences.
