We hope this letter finds you well. We are writing to inform you of several important updates to our practice. These changes reflect our ongoing commitment to providing high-quality care while adapting to new circumstances and ensuring the best possible services for our patients.
NEW OFFICE HOURS:
- Our Michigan Avenue office will now be open Monday through Thursday, from 8:00AM to 5:00PM. This location will be closed on Fridays.
- Our River Forest office will continue to operate Monday through Friday, from 8:00AM to 5:00PM.
- Starting December 11, 2025, our Michigan Avenue office will close permanently as the building transitions to residential use. After that time, all patients may choose to be seen at our River Forest office, where extended hours will soon be announced.
CHANGES TO OBSTETRICAL SERVICES:
We will no longer be delivering babies after December 31, 2025.
- The last obstetric patients we can accept will be those whose last menstrual period (LMP) occurs on or before March 25, 2025.
- For patients whose LMP is after March 25, 2025, we will be able to provide care up to 20 weeks gestation. This includes:
- Comprehensive new OB testing with confirmation of due date and all labwork and counseling
- Ultrasounds, including viability ultrasounds, nuchal translucency ultrasounds, and structural survey ultrasounds
- After 20 weeks gestation, we will assist in transitioning your care to another provider to ensure continuity of care throughout your pregnancy.
Please be assured that we will continue to provide gynecological care including but not limited to:
- Well Woman Visits and Preventative Gynecological Care
- Pap Smears, HPV Testing, and Education
- DySIS Advanced Cervical Colposcopy
- Gynecological Surgery
- Gynecological Cancer Detection
- Gynecological Ultrasound
- Treatment for Gynecological Problems
- LEEP (Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedures)
- Laparoscopic and Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery
- Family Planning and Contraception
- Sonata Fibroid Treatment
- Pelvic Floor Therapy
MEDICARE OPT-OUT:
Effective June 1, 2025, we will be opting out of Medicare. This means:
- We can still see patients with Medicare insurance; however, these visits will be self-pay.
- We will not be able to submit claims to Medicare for any services provided to Medicare beneficiaries.
- For scheduled services, we will do our best to provide an estimated cost in advance to help you plan accordingly.
