Dr. Katherine Tadros is a physician specializing in the practice of obstetrics and gynecology. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida and completed her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine in 2016. She then completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago in 2020.
Dr. Tadros is passionate about providing patients the utmost respect and care they deserve. Focusing on understanding each patient’s experience as well as empowering them with knowledge to help guide their care are paramount to her. She prides herself on practicing evidence-based medicine and providing patients all tools necessary to play an active role in their care. Dr. Tadros believes in fostering open communication with her patients and emphasizes the connection between mind and body in the goals of treatment.
Participating in medical volunteer trips to communities in need in Ecuador, Haiti, Dominican Republic, and Colombia had a strong impact on Dr. Tadros both as a physician and as a person. Her experiences highlighted the importance of compassion and empathy as core values in her career as a physician. She is committed to excellence in all aspects of patient care with a focus on education and prevention. Dr. Tadros provides comprehensive obstetrical and gynecologic services including well woman care, routine and high-risk prenatal care, and surgical intervention such as laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery.
In her free time, Dr. Tadros enjoys caring for her many houseplants, walking, and biking by the lake, traveling, visiting the MCA or Art Institute, and spending time outdoors.
